In 1995 the Vesuvius National Park was established with the aim of protecting the local flora and fauna, as well as studying and monitoring the geological characteristics, biotopes, hydrogeological and ecological balances, and the breathtaking landscapes that embrace the entire territory , leaving visitors breathless.

Exploring the Park means not only having the opportunity to hike along the slopes of the volcano up to the crater, but also to follow one of the 11 paths present, discovering archaeological areas and visiting historic buildings and sumptuous villas that belonged to important Roman patricians.
